Legislative Updates
Tony McCombie amended HB5436 and it made it out of the Rules Committee to the Transportation Safety and Vehicle Committee, but unfortunately we ran out of time and the bill was moved back to the Rules Committee.
Brad Fritts amended his bill HB3548 and once again it made it out of the Rules Committee to the Transportation Safety and Vehicle Committee. This bill had more opposition and it ran out of time and the bill was moved back to the Rules Committee.
So we were not successful during this session, but we are still very focused and trying to figure out how to get more support and less opposition.

We had another productive meeting in Springfield on Nov. 8th. Senator Neil Anderson, Representatives Dan Swanson and Representative Norine Hammond. We appreciate their time and all their hard work they do behind the scenes for us.

We were able to meeting with Senator Neil Anderson, Representative Dan Swanson, Representative Brad Fritts, Taylor Anderson Township officials, Dan Lewis DNR, Jim Kaitschuk Illinois Sheriffs Assocation and a few other organizations. We are continuing to work on a bill and will update once we have the information.
